ABOUT US

In practice since 2008. Now with an AI team.

Synergy Accounting Pte Ltd is an owner-led Singapore accounting and tax practice. Since 2013 we have handled the bookkeeping, corporate tax, GST, payroll and corporate secretarial work that small and medium businesses would rather hand over — the filings, the deadlines, and the judgement calls in between. Today a team of AI agents does the high-volume work under the review of the accountant named below.

Our Principal Accountant has been in practice since 2008, and we run the practice the way we tell clients to run their companies: fixed fees published upfront, every obligation mapped to a date, and records that would survive scrutiny. Most of our clients are 2–20 person Pte Ltds; many have been with us for years, and most of the rest arrive from another firm whose deadlines slipped.

THE PRACTITIONER

The name on the work.

Jacqueline May

Principal Accountant · Chartered Accountant (Singapore), in practice since 2008

Jacqueline is a Chartered Accountant (Singapore) and the Principal Accountant at Synergy Accounting, in practice since 2008. She works on corporate tax, GST and ACRA compliance for small and medium businesses — the filings, deadlines and judgement calls most owners would rather hand over. These guides are written from what she sees in practice.

The guides and free tools on this site are written and checked by the same practitioner who does the client work — against primary IRAS and ACRA sources, not other firms' blogs. If the advice is wrong, our name is on it; that is the standard the content is held to.

THE MODEL

One accountant. A tireless AI team.

The split is deliberate. Agents are good at volume and never miss a date; a Chartered Accountant is good at judgement and is accountable for the result. Nothing is filed with IRAS or ACRA without her sign-off and your approval.

AI agents do
  • Categorise transactions, match bank feeds and reconcile
  • Chase missing receipts and invoices
  • Track every IRAS, ACRA and CPF deadline
  • Draft GST F5, payroll, CPF, IR8A and schedules
  • Assemble monthly management accounts
Your accountant does
  • Reviews and signs off every monthly close
  • Handles the judgement calls and adjustments
  • Approves and submits every filing
  • Explains the numbers and advises on cash, tax and growth
  • Holds regular review calls with you — monthly on Growth and above

HOW WE WORK

Four things we hold ourselves to.

Every deadline mapped to your FYE

ECI, the tax return, AGM, Annual Return, GST, CPF — each obligation is tracked from your financial year end and filed ahead of time. Our free deadline calculator uses the same rules we work to.

The fee is on the website

Fixed monthly packages, published openly — from S$490 a month. You know the number before you ever speak to us, and it does not change with the season.

A named person does the work

Your accounts are reviewed and signed off by the practitioner whose name is on this page — not routed through a call centre or a rotating pool. The agents do the volume work; she makes the judgement calls and answers your questions.

Agents do the legwork

AI agents match transactions, chase receipts, track every IRAS, ACRA and CPF deadline and draft returns every day — so the accountant's time goes on review, judgement and advice, and the fee stays fixed.

On time, always

Deadlines are non-negotiable. We track every IRAS and ACRA filing so nothing slips.

Compliant & confidential

A practice that handles your numbers with care, discretion and rigour — with a human accountable for every filing.

Responsive & clear

Plain-English answers and a real person to talk to — not just a once-a-year report.

Work with a firm that treats your compliance as its own — and gives you a finance team to match.

A named accountant and an AI team that keep your books, GST, payroll and filings running every month — so you can focus on growing your business.
