PRICING GUIDE · UPDATED AUGUST 2026
What accounting services actually cost in Singapore.
Published SME packages in 2026 start around S$68–90 a month and run to S$250–650 for full scopes with GST, payroll and management reporting — but the number that matters is what moves the price. This guide shows real published prices from three providers, including ours, and the add-ons that catch people out.
WHAT MOVES THE PRICE
Six things that actually set your fee.
Every provider prices the same underlying work — the differences are in how they package it. Before comparing quotes, know which of these apply to you, because they explain almost every price difference you will see.
Transaction volume
The single biggest driver. A company with 30 transactions a month is a different job from one with 300 — most packages, including ours, are tiered on volume.
GST registration
Quarterly F5 returns add four filing cycles a year plus ongoing input-tax review. Expect GST to move you up a package tier, and registration itself is often a one-off fee.
Payroll headcount
CPF submissions, itemised payslips and IR8A at year end scale per employee. Most providers include a headcount allowance and charge per extra employee.
Reporting frequency
Annual statements only, quarterly management accounts, or monthly reporting with review — each step up adds real accountant hours, and real fees.
Statements and XBRL
Unaudited financial statements and ACRA XBRL filing are usually in the package; audited statements mean engaging a separate audit firm at a separately quoted fee.
The state of your records
Catch-up bookkeeping for missed months or a messy handover is almost always quoted as a one-off on top of the package price. Ask before you sign.
THREE PRICING MODELS
How the market prices the same work.
| Model | Who uses it | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Revenue or expense bands | Sleek (expense bands), Osome (revenue bands) | Transparent and cheap to enter, but the same plan costs more as your top line grows — Osome's entry plan runs from S$75/mo at under S$30,000 revenue to S$363/mo at S$420,000–900,000. |
| Hourly or time-cost billing | Traditional practices | Fair for genuinely unpredictable work, but hard to budget and prone to surprise invoices. Increasingly rare for routine SME compliance. |
| Flat workload-priced packages | Synergy and other owner-led firms | The fee tracks transactions, payroll, GST and reporting — not revenue. Growing your top line with the same workload does not move the price. |
PUBLISHED PRICES
Three providers' published packages, side by side.
These are entry, mid and top published tiers as at 25 August 2026 — including ours, because a pricing guide that hides its own prices would be exactly the problem this page exists to fix. "From" prices apply at each provider's lowest band.
| Provider | Entry | Mid | Top | Pricing model |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sleek | from S$68/mo | from S$90/mo | from S$250/mo | Annual-expense band; billed annually per financial year |
| Osome | from S$75/mo | from S$99/mo | from S$227/mo | Annual-revenue band; five bands to S$900,000, custom above |
| Synergy Accounting | S$90/mo (S$79 annual) | S$280/mo (S$250 annual) | S$650/mo (S$580 annual) | Workload-priced; monthly or discounted annual billing |
Plan scopes differ — an entry plan at one provider is not identical to an entry plan at another. For the full like-for-like breakdowns, see our Sleek comparison and Osome comparison.
THE FINE PRINT
What the headline price usually leaves out.
- GST registration is usually a one-off add-on — ours is S$350; check whether quarterly F5 filing then needs a higher tier.
- Payroll beyond the package allowance is charged per employee per month — S$18 at ours; comparable per-head fees are common elsewhere.
- Catch-up bookkeeping for behind or untidy records is quoted separately, almost everywhere.
- Ad-hoc XBRL conversions, one-off compilations and corporate-secretarial extras sit outside most headline prices.
- Audited financial statements are a separate engagement with an audit firm — no bookkeeping package includes the audit fee itself.
- Annual-only billing can hide the real monthly commitment: a 'from S$68/mo' plan billed annually is a four-figure upfront payment.

BEFORE YOU SIGN
Six questions to ask any provider — including us.
- 01Which annual-revenue or expense band does this quote assume, and what happens to the price when I cross the next band?
- 02Is the price billed monthly or annually — and is the advertised rate only available on annual billing?
- 03Who actually does the work, and who do I speak to when IRAS sends a letter?
- 04What exactly is in the package: how many transactions, how many payroll heads, which filings?
- 05What are the one-off fees — GST registration, catch-up bookkeeping, XBRL, take-over review?
- 06What is the notice period, and what does the handover file look like if I leave?

Common questions.
How much do accounting services cost in Singapore?
For a typical SME, published full-service packages in 2026 start around S$68–90 per month at entry level and run to roughly S$250–650 per month for packages with GST, payroll and management reporting. Providers using revenue bands charge more as your turnover grows — Osome's published table tops out at S$596/mo before custom quotes. Traditional firms billing by time can run higher still; Osome's own market guide puts conventional full-service packages at S$500–800 per month.
What does a basic bookkeeping-only service cost?
Entry packages built around annual bookkeeping and the year's compliance filings — financial statements, corporate tax return, annual return — are published from about S$68–90 per month across the providers compared here. Monthly bookkeeping, GST and payroll each move you up a tier.
Why do some providers charge more as my revenue grows?
Revenue- and expense-banded pricing uses your top line as a proxy for workload. It is transparent and easy to quote, but the proxy is imperfect: revenue can grow without your transaction count changing, and the band jump arrives anyway. Workload-priced packages tie the fee to transactions, payroll and filings instead.
What is usually excluded from the headline price?
The common one-offs: GST registration, catch-up bookkeeping, ad-hoc XBRL, take-over reviews and corporate-secretarial extras. Audited financial statements are always a separate engagement with an audit firm. Ask for the add-on schedule in writing before committing.
Is cheaper accounting a false economy?
Not automatically — a simple dormant or low-volume company genuinely needs very little. The false economy is a package that does not match your workload: filings done late or wrong cost more in IRAS and ACRA penalties than the fee difference saved. Match the scope honestly, whoever you choose.
